How to Add Buildscout to Your iPhone Home Screen

Add Buildscout to your iPhone home screen in under a minute. Skip typing the address and the Safari browser bar, and open Campaigns with one tap.

If you're checking campaigns, leads or approvals on the move, opening Safari and typing in the address every time slows you down. Buildscout can be added to your iPhone's Home Screen as a web app instead, so it opens like any other app, with its own icon and no browser bar in the way.

Here's how to set it up in under a minute.

Step 1: Open Buildscout in Safari

Go to app.buildscout.co.uk in Safari and log in as usual. Once your Campaigns dashboard has loaded, tap the ••• icon in the bottom-right corner of the browser.

Step 2: Tap 'Share'

A menu will pop up over the page. Tap ‘Share’ near the top.

Step 3: Open the full 'Share' sheet

Safari's share sheet appears, showing quick options like AirDrop, Messages, Mail and WhatsApp. The option you need isn't shown by default - tap the chevron (‘View More’) at the bottom of the row to see everything on offer.

Step 4: Tap "Add to Home Screen"

Scroll through the expanded list until you see ‘Add to Home Screen’, and tap it.

Step 5: Confirm and add

Safari will suggest the name ‘Buildscout’ and show a preview of the icon. Leave ‘Open as Web App’ switched on - this makes sure it launches full-screen, without Safari's address bar. Then tap ‘Add’ in the top-right corner.

Step 6: You're set

A Buildscout icon now sits on your Home Screen alongside your other apps. Tap it any time to jump straight into Campaigns - no typing in a web address, no digging through Safari tabs.
